Well, I dumped him, and he trumped that with the old "I refuse to acknowledge that that happened" routine. So I spent the next week whenever we disagreed saying, "See, this is why I think we should break up!". By the end of the week I got a phone call from him. He felt bad saying it, but he thought that maybe it would be for the best if we broke up. (!!!!!!!) To which I immediately agreed it was a good idea, said goodbye and hung up. I laughed my butt off with relief. I guess the idea had to come from him for it to be real.
Of course, he then spent the next several months stalking and threatening me.

dumped or not dumped has such negative connotations, lets just say that I did her a favor. she was better off without me in her life. chivalry isn't dead. it has just been spread really thin amongst so many people in this world.
