tell me what did you find,and did you ever have it appraised..just to see how much it was worth...or what about if you bought something..say either at an antique sale or fair...or at a regular store, with brand new items...?
just curious...as I like looking up what even antiques go for...but, yes, it depends on what people are willing to pay for it..and or haggle over! LOL!

most spendy thing i ever bought was my house.
most spendy item I didnt know I had was a set of Bavarian China I had appraised a bit ago.
Gramma gave the dishes to me and it had been in the garage for over 15 yrs.
Turned out it was over 100 yrs old and pretty darned rare!
*cant tell ya what I did with it. ;-)
