consult your gynae honey, before it gets worse. Always remember, precaution is better than cure.

No rude answer here. My daughter experienced a similar problem while having her son. The doctor who performed the episiotomy did the cut to the side instead of from the vagina to the rectum. She had a place that would swell up like yours does. It took over a year for it to finally stop doing it. Your doctor will better be able to help you with the problem than we yahoos here on Q&A

Many women tear giving birth, especially with large babies.
You should not however be suffering any lasting effects from it. You have the right idea seeking advice from your doctor, I just have to wonder why you let it go so long. The sooner you seek treatment the better.
Good Luck

I tore badly with one of my children and it was about 3 months before it healed completely. And no, it didn't swell and go down again.
I hope you'll call your Gyn. first thing on Monday.
Good luck.

Sorry if you consider this a rude answer, but why on earth would you ask a question like that on Yahoo? It's a pretty rude question. This should be between you and your doctor.
ADDENDUM- To the person who asked the question and the geniuses who gave my answer a "thumbs down' - my mistake- I forgot about the Jerry Springer mentality, where nothing is too private, and it's the whole world's business.
