In the opposite sex what physical characteristics are an automatic plus?

Sorry I it doesn't necessarily have to be opposite sex :] I wasn't trying to discriminate or anything.
Just as a response to one of the answers I personally value personality more than looks, I was just curious.

nice arms, and great eyes... however... I am proof that looks are not 100% important. I have had people ask me before why I married my husband (I guess he isnt what other people would consider incredibly handsome). People have had the nerve to tell me Im only with him for his money, or that i am too pretty for him.. but to me.. he is the greatest man in the world. He is the best daddy.. he is the most kind and gentle man I have ever met.. he is very smart and has a great job, but we met in college when we were both poor... I guess what I am trying to say is looks arent everything.. and if you are only looking for outer appearance in your partner.. you will be in for a world of hurt when you realise thats the only compatibility.

Physical Characteristics:
-Eyes, definitely a number one
-Smile, has to be friendly without being cocky
-Height, I like them tall
-Doesn't look like a gym monkey. I don't care if they are muscular or not, but if they are muscular, I want it to be from true physical labour, not hours at some gym and some protein shakes.
It is weird though because my husband matches all of those things, except for the height thing, but I can't imagine a more attractive man. I mean Ryan Phillipe, Ethan Hawke, Matt Damon, and Jude Law are certainly up there, but they don't beat him lol.

I love a mans hands, and soft lips. Wanting eyes are a plus too. But like you personality comes first he could be a hunk but if the brains aren't there forget it.

Everyone says eyes, and I guess that's true to some degree.. But I also have to go with hair. Guys with dark, very wavy or curly hair are so attractive to me for some reason.. Also, not being fat or too thin.

i would say more on personality, but still some looks. cuz a cute guy can be too flirty, puts up a front, or stupid.
person: caring, respectful, kind, and smart
looks: cute smile, tall, not fat

I would have to say her overall physique. Nice and curvaceous, and has a dazzling sense of style in fashion.
