what does ( fiarway ) and (tee) mean in this sentence :
A good golfer will swing the club and send his tee shot straight down the fairway without thinking through the maneuver.

The fairway is part of the golf course--I don't golf, but I think it is the grassy part as opposed to the rough or sand traps or water. The tee is a little wooden peg that is used to hold the ball when it is going to be hit for the first time on each hole,

Lillian is correct. I must add that the area where the golfer 'tees-up' for his first shot on each hole is also known as the 'tee'.
What's a 'hole' in golf? The ultimate, much-maligned destination of the ball.
