Im retarded and dont know how to get onto a chat for a website/forum I am members of. Im just not too computer savvy. The server or whatever is irc.haskmark.net and the channel is #mu. I tried using the mIRC 'client' but I couldnt figure it out and someone told me to use HydraIRC so I downloaded it but I still cant figure this out.
Haha im just dumb. So can anyone give me a hand or give me some advice as to what the hell to do to get onto this thing.

Do I have to connect to something before I type this in the window?
It seems like everytime I try to type something in it just says that I am not connected or something.
It tries to to something automatically over and over again and all it says is unable to connect.

this is for mIRC. First start by opening mIRC. To connect to the irc network.. type this in and hit enter.
/connect irc.haskmark.net
Then to join the channel type this in and hit enter
/join #mu
That should work.
