Our son is in Japan as I write this, going to college to improve his Japanese language skills. If you are not fluent in Japanese, you will be put into a remedial Japanese course. The colleges there all start around the first week of October. Does your college offer transfer to colleges in Japan? Talk to them first. It is very expensive to live in Japan! It is cold in the winter, and they do not really heat their buildings. Many of the buildings have mold in them due to the built up moisture in the walls. This sounds like I do not like Japan. We have been there once, and are planning another trip as I write this. We love Japan! If you have learned to speak and read and write Japanese, and just need to learn the formal polite, try looking around for someone local to help you. Do you have exchange students at your school from Japan? Do you have any sushi places ran by Japanes?? Look around.
