Great idea! Working at a job you like makes a big difference.

If you like your job, come sunday night you won't dread Monday morning. Also, the day goes faster.

My dad was a carpenter, and he took pride in pointing out all the construction projects he worked on in the area,

I would recommend signing up for your local carpenters union, they will offer paid training and when you're a journeyman you will make up to $30.00/hr with great benefits. if you get laid off from one company it usually only takes a phone call to another company for work. I highly recommend joining a union!! it definately will pay off!
