I've heard people say that's why dogs sometimes bark out of nowhere since they see black and white (I think), that they're able to see them. What do you think?

They have a 6th sense, a higher sensory system than any human has. Animals in general can sense phenomena or danger. Humans are giving up their animal traits in exchange for civilization, and we are largely out of touch with our animal intuition.

I have a dog and it sometimes bark at night and when i look out of my window i am not able to see anyone...i am not sure whether it can see spirits or is it because dogs have better range of hearings than human and it can detect even the slightest sound better than human.Once, I read this book that says that whenever a dog howls at night, it sees a spirit. So in order for us(human) to be able to see spirits we must take the tears of the dog when its howling and smear it on our eyes....mmm....it seems kinda silly but thats what was written.... maybe dogs are colour blind....?? but im not sure bout that one.....

most definitely. Quite a few times while walking my dog, we have to walk along the fence line of our cemetery. I noticed on many occasions that my dog will stop, look into the cemetery and bark. Sometimes he would, sometimes he wouldn't. My wife caught the coincidence that on the nights he barks, someone had been buried there in the last two days. No recent funerals, no barking. Dogs are sensitive to energies that we are only beginning to understand. A good experiment is to look into your dog's eyes and visualize something he likes in your mind. His leash, a treat, favourite toy, etc. Within a few seconds, you will see him get excited from reading your visual thoughts.

I have owned a few animals over the last 20years,
2 dogs in particular, ran into my bedroom onto the bed, pushed past me to sit in the corner and bark at the bare wall.
then sit wagging there tails. at nothing.. I got out of that bed so fast. - i found out later that the old man that lived his life in that house died in that front bedroom.
I moved house.

My dog i have now, has done this a few times.
But not as often or as weird as my first two dogs.
So yes i believe they can see spirits.

My extensive black lab useful seems to experience 'issues' and had me calling hubby at evening while he's been on the line working so i'm able to bypass look into the abode. Her hair will stand on end, tail tucked, and attempt to conceal decrease than the mattress! as quickly as we had a cat interior the abode, it might take a seat up, act like it replaced into observing somebody walk around the room, then bypass decrease back to sleep. those animals could make me lose soo plenty sleep! So, sure, I do have faith canines can see or experience spirits.

I live in a house with a few resident ghosts...well, quite a few. My cat can definitely see them. She'll stare at seemingly a blank wall with wide eyes, or just stare into space as if she's looking at someone. Very often, she'll be looking at me, but her focus is actually behind me. I can sense that the ghosts are in the room, and the cat just stares them down lol.

As long as I have heard the dogs can here low frequencies (Below the level of human hearing capabilities) hence some believe they can hear noises that are usually unheard by human ears such as ghostly noises. But I doubt they can “see” ghosts!!!!!

Yes they can. I have several dogs, and every now and then, one or the other of them will be staring into a corner, or down a hallway for no apparent reason. I've seen cats do this also.
