I gained weight. I think some of it was because I stopped breastfeeding and some of it was because I stopped breastfeeding right around holiday time. Holiday eating combined with lower activity levels-you know what happens. I put on around 10 pounds. As soon as spring comes though, I'm going to be outside with my daughter everyday (cant do that now-too cold for her). She loves being outside and I'm sure that I'll lose at least a little weight. Hoping to lose it all though.

I gained weight after I stopped breastfeeding, but I did it on purpose. As breastfeeding had made me underweight and I just wanted to be my normal weight.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
