I assume you have Windows XP and an PDF printer installed on your computer. (If you don't have PDF printer there are many free pdf printers available on internet ex. CutePDF, pdf995, primopdf)

Just go to the directory where you have placed the pictures open one of the pictures in "Windows FAX and Picture Viewer" This is usually available on most of the Windows XP installations.

Click on print button
Photo printing wizard will be shown
Click Next
Select the pictures you want to print
Click next
Select the PDF printer
and if required set the printing preferences
Click next
Select Layout in which you want the pictures to be printed in PDF files.
Click Next and the Select name of PDF file and save it.
Once it is completed. The pictures you selected are available in PDF file.

Look for pdffactory at www.fineprint.com.
Its a printer driver that writes a pdf file instead of actually printing. So you could print from a web page view of the files, or a Word view.

Also look up www.irfanview.com - a great utility for making a "contact sheet" style display of many image files.

Together, these should do what you want.

I'm sure I had a version of Adobe 6.0 Professional which would take any Word document and make it in to a PDF.

Its simple to make documents with JPGs in Word. You just copy each JPG and paste in to word.

Then if you had a good version of Adobe PDF (prolly the free version doesn't have the feature) you just make your word document a PDF and it has your text and all pics you used in it.
