It rains a lot in Malasia doesn't it? That could be significant. If the concrete is thick enough with enough structural steel in it to prevent shrinkage cracks you neednt have a membrane at all. I suppose it's warm enough in Malasia that the water on the roof evaporates very quickly... but not quick enough to stop it from coming through the fine cracks eh?

If the water is ponding on the concrete roof you ought to try and stop it from doing that.... otherwise you probably need a "tanking membrane" - one that will span over the little shrinkage cracks.... and you need to treat any structural cracks differently.

There are so many products on the market and your particular problem requires such a specific solution... there is no way anyone can give you advice about it like this... so you need to get an expert out to take a look at the circumstances.

You could always put a metal roof over the concrete by the way.

Good luck.
