I know that when every line rhymes it is called rhyming couplets, but what is the term for every second line rhyming?
eg.
I have a cat
I have a dog
It sleeps on a mat
It likes the fog

cat, mat and dog, fog

it is not haiku.

it is called a "simple four line sonnet".
