I hate to resort to cliches, but life will find a way.

Most likely, the bees are developing an immunity to the pesticide that is being used. It does happen.

Sounds funny but you have to call a beehive removel specalist. I would try calling differant extermainators and seeing if they have some numbers. Or even your local goverment office to see if they know. Check your yellow pages. Might be listed under bee keeper. I know in florida, most of the city's has the specilists for removel of hives from parks. Its your apartment manager responsibilty to get the bees removed. One case in Tampa a land lord did nothing after people had complained. And a little boy ended up dying after being stung multipal times. He got sued. Pestisides are not going to do anything. The main part of the hive with the queen has to be taken out. Good luck to you.

a) the bees are probably developing an immunity to the spray
b) the dead bees you see are probably the ones that took some time to die from the spray, they dont all die right before your eyes.
c) The bees that get killed probably laid thousands of larvae, unfortunatly those are going to hatch. Lets hope your manager gets those baby bees and larvae before THEY lay MORE.

I know that with cockroaches if the larvae is exposed to a pesticide that it will become immune to the poison. Bees also build hives that might offer some protection. If I remember right if there is no queen in a colony then one of the other female bees will become ready to bear eggs.

Hope that helped..

they need to find out how they're getting in to you roof and fix the problem. spraying wont stop them because the bees will keep going into the hole or whatever it may be and keep rebuilding. they need to properly maintain your apartment, otherwise you could file a claim...in which i have no idea how to do so.
