I truly wish I understood that situation myself !! You'll notice the answer before mine ignores the question completely in favor of directing some more venom at Bush !

I remember the war in Nam very clearly....I was a young rebellious teenager starting to love politics & excited by the ideals of RFK. People who opposed the war didn't speak of HATING LBJ , Nixon or any one working w them. And I'm here to say I feel certain there were MANY lies told to the American people then too

It seems fewer folks understand how our system functions , & too many consider ALL elected officials to be corrupt , lieing , thieves. Some are & likely always will be , but the system works overall.

I've yet to hear anyone speak about actually seeking office themselves to offer solutions. It's easier to criticize than lead!!

Hate is a STRONG word, & apparently it's gotten too easy for some to dislike , despise , & distrust. I hope they aren't as full of hate when they learn the next President is just human like us & not as all powerful as they presume.

God Bless us !! I remain a hopeful Dem , but the party keeps presenting shallow , pandering candidiates for me to support. At least Mr Bush is resolute in his beliefs & not afraid to remain so.

Saddam and Bin Laden never claim to be nice people trying to do what is good and right. They are who they say they are - murderers. That I can accept. Bush presents himself as some sort of Christian and then sends his armies half way round the world to kill Muslims. That is pure hypocracy! He is a duplicitous swine!

Because Bush made it possible to make himself the Prince of Stupidity by surrounding himself with a circle of unqualified cronies and reality-challenged lackeys.

Saddam and bin Laden were serious players in the world stage. They didn't treat day to day affairs as a joke like Bush has these last 6 years.

I don't hate the President, but my contempt comes close to it. It isn't the same feeling at all that I have for terrorists. To me they are fanatical animals who need to be exterminated. Bush is just a President who has done this country damage with his incompetence and arrogance. He will thankfully vacate on January 20, 2009 so the new President can clean up his mess. We will still be fighting terrorist scum.

becauase he is, in his own way, no different, while trying to hypocrtically claim the moral high ground on grounds of his own religious extremism. the very thing he claims to be waging his war against the non-white, non-christian world for. he is, in my opinion, a war-mongering megalomaniac, no different or better than the despots he is intent on stamping out at any cost.

People cannot think for themselves and blindly follow those who abuse their trust.

Many of these people who hate our president have committed horrendous acts that cause them to feel tremendous shame.

As a result, they seek like-minded people to console them. They hate themselves and their country, because they feel that they deserve to be punished.

Saddam had never bothered me. bush costs me about $25,000 a year in increased taxes and fuel costs. He lies with impunity, and feels he's above the law. He uses the constitution as toilet paper. Shall I go on?

Because people are critical thinkers and realize that they should not blindly follow a president who has continuely lied to his people and used them for his own economic gain.
