How do i create a flyer with abobe Illustrator CS2?

I post a question before because I thought people were creating night flyers with photoshop but I was infronted that they were created with aboe illustrator. So I got illustrator now. here is the flyer http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v222/volleyballboi/libar_flyer_v1_by_landero.jpg

And please can I get a little more help more then just a website

1 - you gotta know what type of material you're planning use for your flyer

2 - definately CMYK print (set your files into cmyk)

3 - prepare you crop marks for your supplier

4 - date to deliver

Maybe you could take a look at the templates available in illustrator itself. they are in: file/ open template.... (something like that, i dont quite remember). use the models as guides an customize the work as you wish....
