AGP display card is less powerful as compared to PCI Express display card. Further, the price of AGP card of the same range with PCI Express card is more expensive. So, it is not worth upgrading your current display card.

You should save your money to upgrade your motherboard, processor and then the graphic card if you want to play better game. Remember AGP Card is going to phase out soon.

To be honest you will NOT see significant gains in performing this, simply because your new video card will bottleneck with your current cpu. What this means is the new video card you want to upgrade to is too powerfull for your other hardware in your computer, particularly your CPU (Pentium Chip), so you will not see significant gains in performance or ability to play better games. You will not get the full potential out of the card because of this. I speak from personal experience in this case as I upgraded to a top of the line video card in a 3.0GHz pentium 4 as well, only to find that my original card relaease during the time of my computer was more suitable. So basically it would not be worth the extra money in this case.

If you want to play better games I would suggest getting a new high end CPU/Motherboard and then you can go all out on the most powerfull video card if you like, with sigfinicant gains in performance.

It's not worthed. Your NVIDIA 7600GT can play most games (those that doesn't require DX10... like there's any right now) fine. Sure the X1950 Pro is better by spec. But it'll be better to save that money for your new PC that will use Vista + DX10 Graphic Card. Happy gaming~ :)

Honestly I don't think so because everytime I upgrade I'm already out of date. Plus that SLI technology and Quadcore is booming like crazy.
