sounds like a great plan...just make sure when you do meet you have someone with you. if you like him that much, get together sometime, just not alone...never a good idea.

All I can tell you, without trying to rain on your parade, is meet him now or cut him loose. Why? Because the feelings will only get stronger and everything is completely different in person. If you already have a boyfriend, you could lose him as well during your online charade. I just ended a nightmare relationship, where we were both convinced we were in love, etc, etc... It went on for 4 months and I felt completely safe because I had met him in person (first) on 3 different occasions. We talked about everything under the sun, and I thought this m*therf*cker was really my soul mate. Well, I was in for quite a treat when he came home and nothing was like it was supposed to be.

In short, he had lied about being married...leaving out 2 of 4 kids that he fathered. He couldn't stay away from his (supposed) ex-wife who really isn't his ex yet! Talk about a nightmare. When asking myself what I could have done differently...I could have waited until he came back home to find these things out - instead of investing love and care packages, phone bills, online chat time, etc...

A nightmare I'm still recovering from. Meet him now before you invest another minute, and that's the best advice anyone here can give you.

You should thank your lucky stars you are not married with this problem.
You have the freedom to choose who you want to be with but, obviously, you can't have both.
Ask yourself, what does on-line man have or do for you that reality man is lacking? What is it that you REALLY want from your man?
Can you and reality man communicate better to re-kindle your romance? Remember what attracted you to reality man in the first place.
On-line man is a fantasy and unless you plan on going to meet him in person sometime soon, I would stay off the computer for a while and dedicate yourself to the man who is right in front of you.
