Since 1788, the primary basis of Australian culture until the mid-20th century has been Anglo-Celtic, although distinctive Australian features had been evolving from the environment and indigenous culture. here we go , ya bloody mug ave a go , pavlova the dessert , in beers v.b , carlton draught , tooheys , australia day is 26 of january , ya bastard , flat out like a lizard drinking , some bands include ac/dc rose tattoo , cold chisel , inxs , skyhooks , and we never say throw another shrimp on the barbie we call them PRAWNS , some aussie slang includes ill be off like a bucket of prawns in the hot sun ,women can be called shellas , we call drinking bars pubs or THE LOCAL , sorry about this one but aussies usually call americans septic tanks because they are full of **** , and our soldiers are called diggers , i hope i have helped you , and also there are no kangaroos hopping around the city you only see this in rural ereas and they can box with their hands , we also have the ten deadliest snakes in the world the deadliest being the feirce snake and the worlds deadliest spider the sydney funnel web as a matter of fact we have more deadly creatures in australia then anywhere else in the world and the largest crocodile species the salt water crocodile with a record of around 25 /30 feet . we love our beer and our barbies and rugby league is the greatest sport on earth real men dont need loads of padding and helmets ,bloody wooses we use helmets for motorcycle riding here ,anyway goodluck mate.
