There's the old movie made back in the 60s.
"The St. Valentines Day Massacre". It's good because it's a true story.

I think I saw it listed in the TV Guide just yesterday or so.
You can rent it. It's a classic and actually pretty good.

Finally. I remembered some others.
Danny Brasco(I'm not sur of the spelling of the last name. It might be Barasco or Berasco). In fact, it might be Donny not Danny. It's got a good surprise ending and is intense.

There is also, Hoffa..True story

The Cotten Club but it's so so.

There is the film, Collateral. It's very intense.

My favorite though is one that you've seen. Good Fellas. It too is a true story and very intense.

Carlito's way is a reliable one. perhaps no longer a movie, besides the undeniable fact that the Sopranos is a damned reliable journey. err...Gangs of lengthy island (they are in gangs, i wager) Bugsy (Made in 1990 about Bugsy Seigel) American Gangster is a reliable one too, with Danziel Washington and Russell Crowe. jap promises - about the Russian mob in London- starring Viggo Mortensen Blow is rather reliable too. Layer Cake is a damned reliable movie too highway to Perdition

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels is pretty cool. Mean Streets is an early film with De Niro that's pretty good. You've already seen alot I would recommend.

You know, City of God is an awesome, awesome movie. It's a foreign movie, but it is one of the best movies I've seen. The storytelling is vast, spanning a few decades and the actors are just awesome in it. Highly recommended. 8.8/10 at imdb.
