basket ball will not flourish in India, for the simple reason, Indians
are not tall enough. A minimum height of 6 feet, good reflex action
and stamina are necessary to play basket ball. Instead we are
shining in the Gentleman's game or game of 11 fools- "cricket."
It is also heartening to note that nowadays, the monotonous cricket
of 5 days has reincarnated as an one-dayer and very recently
overs based ,making it more attractive.

The average height of Indians is increasing.Soon enough tall and strong players will emerge and take India to greater heights in other fields too.
The Govt should use the fund generated from cricket to other sports too.
