Basically, leaves, they look for the green ones, and you can have some of you f you wear a green t-shirt.
Phytophagous means they eat vegetal, grass or leaves Entomophagous means they can eat other insects. Some even eat snails, or insects eggs, but they are rare.
If you want to feed it, give it the leaves from the tree you fount it on, the pointy tail can be a mean of defense, don't touch it, if it's hairy don't touch the hairs.
Keep it in the sun, but not to much, so it can grow , and spray it with water every now and then if you wanna keep it.

They are voracious feeders and many of them are considered as pests in agriculture. Many moths are better known in their caterpillar stages because of the damage they cause to fruits and other agricultural produce. They are mostly phytophagous in food habit, with some species being entomophagous.
