I do to a degree, but I tend to be very realistic. Being in the military, you don't want to imagine too much. You kinda live in the here and now. While your hubby is deployed, you can't let your imagination get away from you or you'd go nuts. Therefore, I tend to stay very realistic about things. I think I imagine when I need to though.

On the other hand, our daughter is very imaginative. When she was small, she had invisible friends and would carry on full convos with them. When I asked the pediatrician about it, they said it's a sign of intelligence. Now, she's an honor roll student. She has all kinds of dreams about her future and what she wants to do. Being an only child, she always finds ways to keep herself busy. All this and only going on 10!!

One of the very things that has been lost over the course of generation "E" has been the ability to think independently. We are so tied to our electronic one-eyed monsters that we have been robbed of our very gift of creative thought. I mean, who needs to imagine their own reality when the computer or television practically jams it down our throats?

I make a point every day to go into my room, alone, and just think about the things I've seen that day. I also tend to think of the weirdest things just while I'm standing in line at the bank. Some of them are so weird that I wouldn't even think of mentioning them here, but I digress.

The very basis of our minds is the gift of creative imagination. Without it, we all be come dull little robots with no spine and no joy what so ever!

Now...where did I put my toy soldiers?

Yes I must! Or how in the world could I write those paragraph's!!!......................................That takes alot of imagination!LOL
I alway's did have a great imagination, when I was a kid I could play for hours just using my imagination! Making things, like a hut, oh how I loved to do that, and I would imagine it as my castle and I was the Queen!
Then there's the imagination, like hmmm..........I wonder how would he be in bed! I better stop now.
Oh Sunshine, you are a sly one! LOL

Oh, my, yes, and I encourage the same in my children. My son prefers my made up stories to ones from books, and I love making up games for us to play.

Also, I ALWAYS like the book better than the movie. I prefer to imagine how the characters should look and act.

Yes, I can imagine just about anything. I believe most people can as well. I believe that imagination is embued in us by the Creator.

Yup! I'm always thinking of everything under the sun! Silly things to complex things; how to make something better, or how to have more fun; wondering about the afterlife to wondering what I'll dream tonight; reminiscing about my past or wondering what tomorrow will bring; wondering what the temperature is to wondering what that spot on the floor is?!
My mind is always going - ALWAYS!

Some what. I can look at something and get a feeling of what day it would be if that object or place could be a day of the week. Weird huh?
