I am developing a new pc system for use in just about any situation possible. One suggestion that was brought up to me was to provide a psu(s) that can both be mounted in the case without having a customer switch a psu out. Idealy I would like the customer to turn off the system unplug it from his her home and plug it in to an ac hard wired connection in their car. Any suggestions on how I can switch between two psus or have one created with a simple switch to allow for use in home or cars? Email me for more information if this is confusing.

Hi. Include a 120 volt inverter and you will not have to switch anything. Lighter jack to inverter, plug PC into inverter, 120 V A/C at the plug. Here is a circuit if you want to build it inside the case. http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/inverter.asp
