Pointless? Yes, very much so. These idiots who think that God has some higher plan for them are stupidly waiting their lives away.
Boring? Eh. It depends what you're in to and what you classify as non-boring. Life though, in my opinion, is definitely worth living for no matter how much it thrashes you against the rocks.
And if you're asking because you're debating whether or not to kill yourself, then you too are an idiot.
