Yep. It's simple. Even a politician can figure it out - 'cept 43.

The 'idealist' runs for office and wins.

The 'realist' keeps his job more often than not by turning 'idealist' into 'opportunist' - same person, likes job.

To the utmost - Power corrupts - Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The 'idealist' believes fervently in 'democracy'. The 'realist' knows that 'democracy' ain't what they say it is BUT it's definitely better than all other forms of governance.

By the way, I just semi-plagiarized something said by an obscure politician from the past. I think his name was Winston Churchill. You may recall hearing his name. British I believe - Prime Minister of The United Kingdom I'm told. Apparently said a few other profound things too.

To be succinct rather than justifyably 'tongue-in-cheek', WHY - notwithstanding the terrible loss of life suffered by countless Americans eventually in WW2 and the almost total lack of support by the USA until late in WW1, is it necessary to have attacked a totally defensless country - 2 in fact - for reasons under great suspicion in this century???? Hitler was for real. He meant business and had the wherewithall to back it up. A couple of different moves and who knows?? Read your history.

'Realist' - 'Idealist' - Democracy?? Thank goodness for the USA, late or not, but what has become of it now. 43 hasn't a clue.

Realists view democracy as a government that can be validly adopted by a country as contrary to idealists who claim that there is no government that has implemented true democracy. Realists dominates intellectual and academic politics unlike idealists whose perception of government is like utopia cannot be adopted by people.

This is the most basic way to break it down , realists believe that all people are generally bad and will always act in their own self interest. Idealist believe that all people are generally good and will always act to protect the interests of society as a whole.

i'm a individual who seems at certainty and that's the place that's at for me. i will show out certainty to human beings. whether that's no longer what they desire to take heed to. I have no subject being undemanding. besides the certainty that i'm slightly on the beneficial element too. I constantly seem for the good/desire in circumstances. :)
