the framed itachi till the time sasuke went side and itachi said look for me when your eyes are like mine. what think itachi did was take the blame so sasuke would not try to take him on and fail. the only reason why he said that was because when he is strong enough he will tell sasuke and both of them will look for the uchiha who did it

might be that Madora Uchiha that the Kyuubi mentioned. I heard of rumours that Itachi is actually a good guy who is undercover in the Akatsuki so what u said might be true. In anime u never know for sure what is going to happen.

Umm, I don't think so. Cause when Susuke found his parents dead body, apparently the killer was Itachi. If it wasn't him, then he must have found the person who was responsible for the massacre and would have fought him. But there was no evidence of a fight.
And don't be silly by saying that he thought Susuke would try to find and kill that person and die, so in order to save his brother he switched the place with that person. Susuke knew he must kill his brother, but it took that long to find him. And if susuke did know that someone else killed his clan and he doesn't know who that is, then how can he be in danger?
There's another point that Itachi activated his Mangekyo Sharingan by killing another Uchiha (supposed to be his best friend). You ask me, how do i know that ; cause he said so. And by no way that is a proof of his sanity.
Well, thats all the things I can think of right now. Well, it may be true that Mashashi Kishimoto san would add some twists and turns in the plot, but we can't know for sure, right?

Itachi did kill his clan but another UCHIHA did it!!!Are you out of your mined?how did another do it?There are only two in the world so if there is one more were is he?please do not make up story's I like Itachi for what he did!!!!He maid sasuke in to a little baby!!lol.So if you don't like him for what he is then you are not a fan!

I believe that Itachi did murder the clan, but for a different reason, not to test his power.

I dont think itachi is good as if u guys remember properly he did kill the guards when him and kisame were coming to konoha and he did torture kakashi. He also killed his best friends so that he could get his mangekyou sharingan.
