why do old women refer to their "girly parts" as "possible"?

i've heard so many senior citizens (in my job, i bathe them) refer to washing "Miss Possible and her neighbor" or "wash high as possible and the lowest possible" i just dont get it

Maybe they feel shy saying "vagina"...I mean they are old...

and with the "wash high as possible and the lowest possible", I think they mean literally, they want you to wash the whole parts.
