It's me and my teenage daughter we are both into acting ,dance etc.need to be close to hollywood area!Need to find an agent .Also need to know best and worst places for apts. in a medium price range. Please help!!!

Get the LA Weekly - should be able to access it online and find an apartment.
I lived in Los Angeles ten years ago, and cheap rents in LA are generally older neighborhoods. LA has some very nice sections and some damn scary ones too.
I don't what medium price range is for you. If you're from out-of-state, it's going to be a rude awakening.

This should actually be in the comedy section. There are NO reasonably priced rentals in L.A. or surrounding areas in a 1,000 miles! The reason so many people are homeless here is because nobody can afford to KILL THE LANDLORDS!

Try looking up Oakwood Apartments. It's furnished and unfurnished temporary housing. It's where alot of struggling actors and actresses, signers and dancers end up living when they first get to California. Good luck.

Killing the landlords isnt funny....they/we are providing a product for which there is considerable demand, if you dont like it, move out of our property, so we can rent to a grateful renter.
