um seriously? while the bible; which you love to quote at long end; does say that women should obey their husbands. however it also says that men should love their wives as they love the church. no women should never call their husbands master or lord, unless they husband seems he is above god and gods law. making your wife call you lord would be disobeying gods law. you should love and respect your wife. you should be the spiritual leader in the home but not to the point of putting yourself above or even on the same level as god.

NO, not really In this modern age both wife and husband are equal in all aspects. Both must have respect for each other in their hearts because some times the lips may deceive you

The "tradition" you are referring to is just a tad bit outdated. Nowadays, the proper tradition is for the husband to follow his goddess staying 10 paces behind, never talking unless she gives him permission, never making eye contact unless given permission, etc.

Now doesn't that seem pretty ridiculous?

If my wife calls me master or lord, does that mean I get to call her wench?

Please tell you this isn't a serious question. God tells husbands to provide for and protect their wives, to treat them with honor as respect. Nowhere does it say that we can treat them like property or servants.

Hell No! The woman is what makes the man, so technically she is in charge. Men just won't admit it!

I could have sworn I answered this question already, or something very similar, from "Sandstorm".

Oh well, I'll answer it again.

Oh, Sure, and while she's at it, why don't you ask her to make sure she stays five feet behind you when walking?
