hes really talented and the waarriors play a lot better with him. If he played 82 games evrey year/or almost, he would be a all-star for sure. But he seems to be so injury-prone. Should the Warriors be patient with him or dump him to get some other leader(Chris Paul like) that tends to stay healthier?

Your question is "is" he the face, to which the answer is yes. "Should" he though, would be a no. Paul, among others, is probably already a better player, and if not yet, he will be in a year or two. Davis, while flashy and a good scorer, is a bad decision-maker, turnover-prone, not much of a leader, has occaisional fits of selfishness and other attitude problems, doesn't play defense and, as you mentioned, is injury prone. Yes, i would take Chris Paul

Sigh! Only God knows. Anybody in the NBA can get injured anytime. If Chris Mullin dumps him, there is no guarantee that the next point guard will always be injury-free. When Baron Davis is on the court, the Warriors can win some games. However, he is really injury-prone so I doubt that he can bring the Warriors to the playoff this year.

I feel that Baron Davis is the person who can keep the warriors in the game but even though he's always getting injured, he should be give a chance to prove himself to be the best in the warriors.

Unfortunately he is their face. The run and gun and play no defense face.

And should they drop him to pick up a Chris Paul type? Lol, as if there are guys like Chris Paul falling from the sky to come play in the NBA? Most teams would hope they could rebuild around a guy as talented as Chris Paul.

the warriors have never had dominant inside play...Ive been watching the team for the last 35 or so years, and we watched a lot of games when my friends cousin played for the team (which was when they last won a title)...and ever since then (with the exception of Robert Parrish, who was improperly utilized) they didnt have one player who could always get his shot inside AND defended or rebounded well (mr mean was a great inside defender and rebounder but couldnt hurt you scoring), without that the warriors have been a score high, run, lose ...team...so it doesnt matter who is playing the 1 spot, they will develop or find someone to do that, (Ellis looks nice so far) but they will still be a run, score...lose team without rebounding and inside defense...
