Watch the ball closely so that you contact the ball in the center of the strings every time. Many so called " advanced players" say they do this but they don't.

2. Theres this little drill I like to do to improve my shot strength. : Put a racquet cover on your racquet and start swinging. This improves the precise muscles needed for your sot in this case your forehand.

3.contact the ball squarely in front of your body. This way you can get your weight going into the shot.

4. To control your forehand add slight topspin to your shot. This will take away a little speed but it will give great control and is harder for your opponent to return than a flat shot.

5. Just concentrate on hitting deep. This will prevent your opponent from attacking yourr shot. It doesnt have to be 1 foot from the baseline but try to get in the back 8 feet.

Good luck! (:

The best way to hit a powerful forehands is not that easy.

First, you need to be able to access all sorts of spins, to make sure you keep the ball inside the lines. You can hit very powerful forehands with topspin.

Second, it's all about getting your foothwork very stabile and being able to change very quickly, adapting to the pace of your opponent, if you manage to do this, you should be able to find the best timing to strike your ball in front of you, which gives you a lot more chance of hitting the ball at full power.

Third, you can use racket with a lower string tension, or with a bigger sweepspot, this increases your power also.

I have the first two qualities and i'm able to hit forehands, with speeds reaching 110mph.

Sounds like you need to add a bit more top spin. Practice hitting the ball harder when you train , you will see results. Maybe a little more upper body strength.

hit the ball harder, of course, and try to hit it flatter, or more in the core. don't make an exaggerating brush up the back

topspin wont make the ball fast

you have to hit the ball flatter, instead of brushing the ball like crazy

dont exaggerate the brushing movement that you do in topspin
