Are there any episodes with the first doctor that were ever fully in color? I've seen some promo pictures that were, indeed, colored, but it seems very random. Why is that?

The first episodes came out before color television, so unless someone colorized them, they will be in black & white. Those are the ones you're watching, right? Boy, are you in for a long haul. The series is one of the longest in existence.
