Disagree. Manila is a giant garbage pit with too many people and rats....and they all hate foreigners. Cebu is a much more law-abiding city. More progresive and better educated locals. They seem to try harder to be a modern city, although its is still in the Philippines. There is no difference in the weather that I can tell. Manila is more polluted.

Yes, these are considered as two of the most progressive cities in the Philippines. Compared to Manila, Cebu is way better. Traffic is bad in both cities. Cebu is much safer than Manila though.

No. I lived in Forbes Park, Makati - Manila for about a year. Cebu is on another island in the Philippines - further south and much smaller; to say the least.

NOT THE SAME!!! Cebu is more like a provinsial city, than anything else been travelling to cebu for 26 years, can't get enough of the place A LOT OF PEOPLE, BUT A HECK OF A LOT SAFER THAN MANILA!!!!!! been there 10 times, attempted vallet snatch every time, cheating taxidrivers you name it . in Cebu 2 attempts, NO cheating taxidrivers, reason they know this "JOE" knows where hes going and what route to take so there give me Cebu ANY DAY!!!

yah almost the same.. have international airports, class A hotels, same night life and both city never sleeps.. trafficis horrible too..
