try some of the keyboard works of Johann Sebastian Bach, like "The Goldberg Variations" and "Well-Tempered Clavier". They are very logical and mathematical, and either they send you straight to sleep, or they get your brain into high gear. Can't tell you what effect will be on you, but I've talked to people of both sorts, so it's worth a try.
Classical guitar music is very soothing as well. Look for composer Fernando Sor and his contemporaries, as played by the legendary Andre Segovia.

Try Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy...you won't be dissapointed.
