I have a boyfriend I have been dateing six years. He has asked me to marry him. Its is long distance right now and has been for a few years. I called him to night and told him that while i was out i had a drink spilled on me (Just rasberry Lemonaide) he got mad and was like "Oh! Now your flashing waiters. i'm gonna go watch my movie now" so I was like "Call me after the movie?" and he was like "maybe, maybe not." do you think that I desereved the comment? I am just wondering if he is overreacting, or not.

Yes, he is overreacting, if I were you I would tell him how you felt about that comment, see how he reacts. He could be just a bit nervous, so give him a chance, but if he keeps it up you may have a troubled marriage.

He was obviously overreacting because you didnt mention having to take of your shirt. His outburst could be one of many reasons. 1) He could be really frustrated because he cant see you anymore; 2) He might be feeling neglect because he just snapped at you and you didnt try and see what was wrong; or 3) this is the worse scenario but he might be on a guilt trip...

If he has this kind of attitude alot i would advise you not to marry him. there's alot that we dont know about your relationship,like whether or not he trusts you? do you trust him? maybe he has issues? like whats he doing? or on the other hand maybe he just had a bad day? well just wait for him to call & dont call him. let him know that it upset you and you dont think that you deserved the comment. If he says sorry then hes good for you. If he dont apologize then???????? totally up to you!

wow selena he took tha way out of hand, he made a big deal about nothing, if u are gonna get married talk to him and tell him these type of dumb things he says is not acceptable best of luck..

he's overreacting. i suggest talking to him. but dont push him to talk cause i read that when guys have stress they tend to not want to talk at all because they can only use one side of their brains at a time (while girls can use both simultaneously) its weird, yeah i know.

well first be sure he wasnt kidding (although i doubt he was since you asked this) second, he overreacted, maybe he had a bad day? give him a little spcae he'll come around
