It seems as if the electrical wiring has gone crazy on my Cavalier. The horn, speedometer, and fuel gauge do not work anymore. The speedometer says I am going 90mph when I am stopped at a stop light!! I am desperately needing to get my horn fixed at the least because I have not been able to get my inspection renewed for the last 6 months. Has anyone else had this problem? How much was it to fix it?

You did not specify but I am guessing these things did not all happen at once. First the horn. Check the fuse for the horn. More than likely you need one or both horns replaced even if the fuse is blown. But it is worth a try. Is your vehicle still under warranty? The other problem with the speedo and fuel gauge could be two unrelated probs or one common one. Basically, there is no reason you can't get this taken care of. Unless, of course you are unwilling to get it done. Technicians at repair shops and dealerships are standing by just hoping someone like yourself will pay them a visit. That is how people like me earn a living and clothe our children.
