Kaiser Wilhelm II was always the life of the party. His friends called him "Kaisey". He loved to wear helmets with the little spike sticking straight out of the top. One of his favorite parlor games was having party guests toss donuts and try to land them on the spike. He would run around the room bobbing and weaving trying to catch all of the donuts on his little spike. One of the reasons he kept his pants tucked into his boots was that he had a bladder control problem. He was given to fits of depression and could become quite violent. Once while in a fit of depression anger he ran full speed at a party guest after they had hit him in the face while trying to land a donut on his spike. He lowered his head and ran across the room impaling the poor guest on his helmet spike. That is why to this day stabbing someone in the chest in a fit of anger is known as "pulling a Wilhelm". The only other strange fact I know about him is that he secretly kept a herd of shetland ponies on a hidden ranch in the Black Forest. He loved to ride the shetlands and pretend he was a giant. Good luck with your report. I'm sure your teacher will be impressed that you gathered all of this hard to find information.

RE:
Does anyone know any fun facts about Kaiser Wilhelm II?
I'm just looking for obscure and interesting information. I already know that he called the Russian Czar Nicky, and he wore a lot of uniforms. Anyone know anything else? I want to learn more about this fascinating man. Thanks!

Well I know that he was related to many of the prominent monarchs of the time including the Russian Czar Nicholas, the Brits King Edward VII, King George V, and Queen Victoria as well as being related to King Frederick III of Prussia.
He suffered from Erb's Palsy which left his Left arm withered and unfit for use. He tried to hide this birth deformity throughout his life often times by wearing a pair of white gloves on that hand to make the arm appear to be longer.
He was also known for his diplomatic ineptness. He was incredibly impatient and was not a born leader. The Morroccon Crisis, The Daily Telegraph Affair and the Kruger Telegraph are all good examples of that...not to mention the diplomatic nightmare that led to the precursors of WWI.
Hope that helps!

He are some interesting tidbits for you (how “fun,” they are, I don’t know): Wilhelm II (called William by his English-speaking mother), was the first grandson of Queen Victoria (and was present at her deathbed). He had withered left arm (well hidden) caused by a difficult birth. He continually beat his uncle Edward VII (of the United Kingdom) at yachting. King George V (“Georgie” of the United Kingdom) was “Willie’s” first cousin and Nicholas II (“Nicky” of Russia), who you mention, was his first cousin-in-law. Germany, of course, fought both nations in the terrible First World War. After the war (and his abdication), Wilhelm lived in retirement in Holland for the rest of his life (though he always hoped to return to Germany). His response upon learning of the Nazi persecution of German Jews was: “For the first time I am ashamed to be a German." Wilhelm and his beloved wife had seven children; he became a widower and eventually remarried.

He was a breech birth. At that time it meant he was deprived of oxygen at a crucial period in the birth process. This has the effect of making the child extremely impulsive and impatient of contradiction.
Another person with a similar birth problem and the same results in life was Nancy Spungeon, the girlfriend of British Punk Rocker Sid Vicious.
I can't think of the two apart.
Whenever the Kaiser saw anyone bending over, he would slap their behind.

One very funny thing was that Wilhelm had read that tourists had started gathering at his Berlin palace at a certain time, and at a certain window on the belief that they would see him there.
So not to disappoint the gathering crowds, that exactly what wilhelm did. When asked by his advisors why he was standing near the window, he told them that he read that in the newspapers.
Wilhelm doing his part for German tourism!

Kaiser Willhelm was as much fun as his cousins,King George V and Tsar Nicholas II. (Romanov).
Additionally,he sent the young men of his country to hideous deaths,in the name of business and the status quo.
They were ALL less funny than a car accident.
