I worked with Nicole on Dead Calm,, her first film in Australia was BMX Bandits, shot in Sydney when she was only 16 years old,, before that she modeled clothing,,, Dead Calm shot By Dean Semlner(Dances With Wolves) did infact bring her to the attention to the US film industry,,

I think it may have been her first AMERICAN MOVIE, released in 1989. Previously, she had roles in various TV shows but, again, "Dead Calm" was her first MOVIE in the USA.
