I know there's I'll Be Missing You by P Diddy, but are there any other songs that have that same theme that can be dedicated to lost loves/friends/family members?

Angel by Sarah McLachlan
just about every funeral i've been too has that song and it's touching everytime
Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it ok
There's always one reason
To feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh beautiful release
Memory seep from my veins
Let me be empty and weightless
And maybe I'll find some peace tonight

(Chorus)
In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

So tired of the straight line
And everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
And the storm keeps on twisting
You keep on building the lie
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference
Escaping one last time
It's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
Oh this glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

(Chorus)
In the arms of the angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

You're in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort here

At my grandma's funeral and my uncle's funerals we played a song called "Passing Angel" by Phil Joel (former lead singer of the Newsboys) and it's really beautiful, appropriate for celebrating the life of a loved one :)

The lyrics go:

We won't say goodbye
This is not the end we know
Truly all who live must die
But not all who live
Have truly been alive

So, I will celebrate your love
Celebrate your faith
Celebrate your love
And the legacy you leave
We won't say goodbye

This song, "The Prayer" was played at my grandfather's funeral. Not a dry eye in the place, and the song is absolutely beautiful. The version we played was Celine and Andrea Bocelli, but Josh Groban is fantastic as well.

I have to say, for modern music though, I agree with "One Sweet Day" with Mariah and Boyz II Men. Great song.

Calling all Angels, from Pay it forward. I know K.D. Lang is one of the singers, but don't remember the other. Also, Tell Me I was Dreaming, Travis Tritt.
