START --> All Programs --> Accessories -- System Tools --> System Restore

This brings up 2 options - either restore your computer to past date/time or create a new restore point.

A calendar will come up and you can choose which date/time you want to take your computer settings back to.

I dont think the above answerers understand your question correctly.

to reboot, turn off pc and turn it back on.

to restore to factory settings you will need the disk that came with your computer. if you don't have it, contact the manufacturer for a new one.
