Europe does indeed criticise the USA about global warming, however they are committed to reducing greenhouse gases by one fifth by 2020. They may not want to make concessions, but they are.

Ok. So, just how much more greenouse gasses are emitted from the average European car moving at 60mph (100kph) versus moving at 90mph (150kph)? And given that reducing the speed would also increase the duration of the trip, what is the actual mathematical savings (if any) by imposing speed limits?

And BTW, what amount of greenhouse gasses are currently emitted in Europe, both in absolute numbers and per capita, compared to the US?

Your point doesn't work if it's not backed by the math.
