Usually during daylight savings time, my computer adjusts its time automatically. Is it because they moved DST to an earlier date? How do I correct this, short of just manually going in and changing the clock. Will it automatically adjust itself based on the "former" day set for DST?

To add on to what was said about 98. Microsoft supports XP and Vista only. It will support 2000 but only if you are a member of their support call line. As for 98, Me, 95 etc.., Microsoft says you are out of luck.

It is because they changed the daylight savings changeover to three weeks earlier and it will also change in the fall to three weeks later. I am going to leave my computer alone and let it change on the old schedule, if I change it now it may change again.
I still don't get the reason about the daylight for the farmers. People work all kinds of shifts, and I don't see any advantage to it : (

WindowsXP and Vista will change automatically.

Win98 has to be changed manually, if you want it changed now -- or -- you can wait 3 weeks and it will be done at the "normal" DST time.

Personally, I'm not running a business so I will let my Win98 wait. You can go to this link if you wish:

It probably depends on how old your computer and other electronic gadgets are. Our laptop changed over but then its not even 6 months old yet so it was probably programmed but then our desk top I have not even checked and it probably did not change cause its just old.
