I think a girl with a bit of fuzz on her face is still a girl. It's normal for people to have hair all over their body, but I guess some people just have a harder time accepting that. I think you sound like a great person and that what that boy said was really inconsiderate. If you really don't like it, you can get rid of it. Waxing hurts a bit, but over time, the hairs will get finer andmaybe eventually not even grow back because the roots get too weak. You can also use Nair to get rid of it, which take a bit of time (5 - 10 minutes) but is painless, except for the smell of the chemical. You can thread it, which is taking a twirled up string and running it to pull out hairs (I don't know how to do this, but my mom does =P). You can also bleach it or tweeze it, it's really up to you and which ever you think is easier. I usually just Nair it because it's painless and not as messy, but it smells horrible! But whichever method you choose, just don't shave it. It'll grow back thick and coarse like men's stubble. If you yourself really don't mind the hair, don't worry about what other people think. =)

OK, you're a mammal....you have hair, but most people can't see it well in females. You could go with the waxing and definatly DON'T SHAVE IT...THAT WILL MAKE IT WORSE. However, if you think you have an abnormal amount, you may want to have your hormone levels checked to ensure that you are producing the correct amount of estrogen and progestrone. Some women have lowered amounts causing them to become more hairy, have lower voices, and it also can cause miscarriage in women if they don't know that their levels are low. I'm not a doctor or a nurse, but my mom was a nurse and I to LOVE to read...so yea, I learned a lot. Good luck.

So why don`t u remove it by waxing or hair remover (Nair, Neet) apparently it is noticeable or the guy would not have told u that u have a moustache. Now you`ll be even prettier without hair on ur upper lip. Waxing is the way to go, it can be done at a beauty salon cheaply, if u can`t do it at home.

I get the same thing. I use Nair Upper Lip Cream. It's cheap and effective. When I use it the hair stays gone for about a month. It comes in a conveinent tube, like a lip gloss blistex tube, that will help spread the cream easily over the top lip. Just leave on for 10 minutes, and wipe the hair away.

What i take advantage of is this Sally Hansen bleaching formulation. you will discover it in only about any shop, and Wall-mart has it too. you leave it on for 8 minutes, and it burns off all your hairs. Its approximately $5, and it would not harm in any respect. i take advantage of it and am very thrilled. wish this facilitates.

That was really mean, and yes you deserve to be loved. I would tell you not to worry about it, but I know how you feel (I got teased a lot about my arms) and so I know that's not much of an answer.
If you feel self-conscious about this, try bleaching it, or get electrosis (it's expensive, but it will never grow back).

What does being pretty and nice have to do with a hairy upper lip? That guy embarressed you because he is a teenage boy and they are stupid, not because you aren't nice.
If it bothers you do something about it. If not, tell that stupid boy that he has bad breath.

some people have more body hair because of their genetic make up and hormones. talk to your mother or aunt about this. there are many options available. the best option is to accept yourself and not change just because of criticism from another.
