I am a 19 year old girl, I currently live with my lesbian friend... I have always sworn up and down that I am straight, but now I am beginning to think that I am not.

I am attracted to other girls... I have kissed other girls, but only in drunken moments. I find myself looking at women and being 'turned on'. I would rather look at a chic over a guy.

I have been with many men and I love the sex, but I have found myself looking at another girl and becoming attached to her. This woman is a lesbian, and I want to experiment and see if I really like it.

How do I approach the situation?

If it was me I think I would first talk to her and explain how I feel and then I would ask her if she would mind being my first. That way I had her full consent, and she would know that it was a first time thing.

Tell her that you are interested in her. Make sure she knows you are a bit unsure about your sexuality. And tell her when you are are sure about your feelings for women. It's very important to be honest in this situation. Also, tell her that you like her and think she is attractive. It lets her know that while you are unsure, there is some type of feeling there.

Tell her exactly how you feel and don't call it an experiment. People don't like being considered that.

After you give her the lowdown ask her if she's willing to be with you (in whatever way it is you have planned). If she says yes then take it slow and enjoy it.

I'd kiss her and see how she responds. But be careful, you don't want to end up ruining your friendship if she's not interested.
