It looks like suicide. He was alive when they found him but he didn't make it. He was Jim Carrey's best friend in "The Mask", was a standup comedian and a regular guest on "The Tonight Show" and also a comedy writer.

He did not have aids, what an idiot to say that. He was one of the top 5 best ever in my book.

well I'd say if he shot himself, it was suicide unless the gun went out accidently while he was cleaning it or something. What a sad occurrence - he was a good actor & comedian.
