mozilla is a better option but from IE6 and 7 I would go for IE7.......this has some added facilities like 2 tabs simultaneously ans many more...

Its a matter of preferance as far as whats better, but I researched online for a while before deciding to go wit firefox, and been amazed at how well it performs! As far as which is faster, that will mainly depend on your internet connection, because you have to load the page to your computer......I have 3mb download speed and cant tell the difference between ie7 or firefox......

If you decide to try firefox, use the second link after you install the browser, I havent found a website that doesnt work with firefox yet with this add on!

IE 7 is more show than substance. I don't like either, but on comparing, I will say IE 6 is less pathetic than IE 7. If you use Firefox or Opera even once, you will forget both in an instant.

I would highly suggest Mozilla Firefox because it updates regularly(whereas IE took 5 years) and I has greater Security features. and also IE6 is faster, but it depends on the connection speed

I am using internet explorer 7. it seems to run better however
some programs don't recognize it. so it can be a problem.

internet explorer 7. it has more features. if you're using it for the first time you may say that it is slower, but after some time you'll appreciate it

ofcourse IE7 is better than IE6 ,here is tabbed browsing and many more features... but....
there is one more browser that is best of all
that is Mozilla Firefox

to me they are the same. i think it has something to do more with the computer you have and the internet connection you are using, not so much what version of explorer.

I don't see any difference. I have IE7 on my new PC and IE6 on the old PC which has Win98. Win98 will not run IE7.
Speed depends on how many programs you are running simultaneously (including wallpaper and screensavers), whether or not you regularly run a Disk Cleanup, Scandisk and a defrag.
