you hear about so many "doomsday" predictions. what do you guys think will cause the ultimate demise of our species? more importantly, WHEN do you think this will happen?

When Jesus comes back for his elect that will be the beginning of the end. Nobody knows when that will be and I wont pretend that I do.

I saw this one and i had to answer....I think that most likely...people will be the end of people. look at all the war and violence around us.. If you think that people can get along its a joke...eventually people will end up killing all other people. And if its not by us intentionally killing everyone else..it'll be an accident..example..we find new ways to stop people from dying natural (virus disease ridden) deaths every single day. we also have so many pregnancies everyday...so with that in mind we are bound to eventually over populate the world and lose any ability to sustain life. I think humans could learn a few things from animals...in an animal pack, there is an alpha male and an alpha female...they have the babies, thats it. and it keeps there population under control. they also have a survival of the fittest thing going on. only the strong survive not the weak or deformed, unlike humans who help the retarded and malformed babies to live to make more retarded and malformed babies.
so in short...humans will be the destruction of all humans (...or aliens who get pissed cause we're invading their land and decide they want to destroy the planet...)

I think that global warming is going to be the cause of the
end. For many years it's only gotten worse and so few
people have paid attention, and now people are talking
more and more about it. Look at all the natural disasters
that have happened and it only seems to be getting worse.
So many people have died from these disasters and I
really beleive that in 200 years from now, there will be no
earth. There are so many things that can be done to make
drastic changes, but to many people are just ignoring this.

I can see it happening one way or the other
an all out nuclear war with other countries like Iran
or North Korea
Or an asteroid on a collision course with earth and we
humans never know when

i dont think it will all die off ... but i do think there will be massive deaths eventually due to a nuclear exchange and probably a virus also ..
