had 8 hours sleep
got up after hubby knicked a pillow I was using
decided to come down for a glass of water
saw daughters school uniform and ironing basket, so did a bit of ironing
what an exciting life.........

I've just got back from my nightshift; I'm a carer, I spent all night doing personal care for very grateful elderly people. Now I'm waiting until my painkillers kick in and I can walk again because Joplings is closing down and I want to see if there's any bargains.

Yeh finish about 0630.Quiet night really,watched The Brotherhood (Korean war film) very good film.Stop on here till hometime then scream down the M1 and away to bed.Then start all over again tonight.

graveyard shifts are cool!
you don't have enough supervisors snooping around you..
you get a night differential (teehee)..
you get a time that ticks faster than other shifts (esp. afternoon shifts)..
you have a lot more food breaks than the day shifts..
and yeah, you get to surf the web (lol).
...the only downfall is missing the nightlife grooves *sigh*

yep i work overnight at a hotel so i get to sit here for 8 hours and really only work abour three of those lol
