There's a wealth of information about this song written by Cole Porter in 1934. You can find it at Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. There is no mention of Gene Autry ever recording the song although he may have. Bing Crosby had the million record seller along with Roy Rogers, Kate Smith and the Andrew Sisters in the movie "Hollywood Canteen".

that song was done a very long time ago by gene autry i believe back in the early 40's-50's. early cowboy days. loved it every since i heard it as a child in texas back in 195-
